Hi, my name is

Shreyas

I am seeking Internship placements for Summer 2026 in Data Science, Software Engineering, Tech.

About Me

I am a penultimate-year MEng Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial College London, interested in data, mathematics, and complex systems. Machine learning and data visualisation fascinate me due to their ability to reveal structure in complexity, turning abstract information into intuition that drives real-world impact. My engineering background has trained me to extract clarity from data, reason quantitatively, and think critically about how systems behave under uncertainty.

I see technology as an analytical and creative pursuit — a way to blend mathematical precision with design thinking to build impactful systems. Whether modelling physiological signals or exploring market dynamics, I’m motivated by curiosity and the desire to understand how data can shape smarter decisions. I am currently seeking a summer 2026 internship in software engineering, data science, or quantitative research, where I can contribute to data-driven projects that make a measurable difference.

Outside of academics, I enjoy playing badminton, having previously competed at club level. I am also exploring strategic poker for its lessons in probability, decision-making, and risk management.

Projects

Mobile App
Flutter Firebase SQL Figma
Mobile App
Part of the Amazon University Engagement Programme. Collaborated in a team to design a meal-planning mobile app aimed at students to alleivate the pressure of meal-prep and minimise food waste, while still being tasty. Made a way for users to import videos from Instagram and YouTube.
Fractal Generator
Python NumPy Matplotlib Tkinter
Fractal Generator
Programmed a fractial visualisation algorithm (Mandelbrot, Julia, and Newton Sets) in Python using vectorisation to accelerate computation by 10 times. Also implemented a UI for interactive parameter control.
Data Analysis
Python Pandas Matplotlib Seaborn
Data Analysis
Conducted data cleaning, statistical modelling, and visualisation on real-world datasets (WHO, National Parks Service). Identified correlations between trends and presented data in a digestible format.
PNG File Parsing
Python File Handling
PNG File Parsing
Made a tool to handle PNG files, reading the header chunks to get information about the file, and reading the data chunks to output the colour value of each pixel. Also a functionality to save a singular colour channel from the image.
Cell Growth modelling
Java Data Visualisation OOP Swing
Cell Growth modelling
Developed a Cell Growth Model, applying my knowledge of Mathematical Mdoelling, Object Oriented Programming, Bioinformatics and Data Visualisation.
Stock Forecasting
Python Data Visualisation Time Series Analysis OOP Pandas Statsmodels Matplotlib Machine Learning
Stock Forecasting
Developed an object-oriented Python application for financial time series analysis, via implementing statistical tests (like ADFuller) to assist in forecasting stock prices. I managed to achieve a low SMAPE of around 1.5% when forecasting with ARIMA models. The application is also customisable, allowing for analysis of different stocks and in different time frames. This was achieved using pakcages like Statsmodels, Pandas and Matplotlib.
